FLMG is pleased to be collaborating in the Live Music Festival portion of this years San Jose "Rose, White & Blue Parade" This parade continues to honor the history of the Fiesta de las Rosas Parade, a San Jose tradition that began in 1896. Join us in celebrating the founding of our country on the 4th of July and in remembering our San Jose neighborhood rose history. Immediately following the Parade, the Festival lineup will feature performances by jazz/R&B recording artist "Nicolas Bearde", classic rock 'n roll cover band, "Off The Record" and the powerful energetic salsa band "Orquesta Borinquen."
The Apple Band Project Donates Sales Guillermo Delgado-Aparicio and his band, the Apple Band Project, has generously donated sales of a song and a portion of the album sales to Mattie's Miracle Cancer Foundation "Mattie's Fund". The band chose a song called "My Little Child" which is one of 15 tracks from their latest album "Roots" as the song for Mattie. The Band said "Even though we know this is a little contribution for Mattie, Music is a gift for us to share, and we would like to share this with Mattie." Last year the Band did the same for orphan children displaced by the major earthquake in Pisco, Peru and they raised lots of money through the sale of CDs to help the kids.
